Walk through the olive grove and the forest of Son Palou. Along the trail through the forest, you will see an old lime kiln, a small oven where bread was baked, as well as several ruins of charcoal burners’ huts. These were old seasonal workers who would spend at least 2 to 3 weeks cutting firewood and, through a controlled burning process, producing charcoal for later sale.
